GroundWork has completely changed the way I train and i'd never be able to go to anything else now! I never knew how to use any weights/ do any lifting and it didn't appeal to me but now can't imagine how I ever felt strong/fit without this kind of training. The trainers take you through techniques to properly use every piece of kit so I feel completely comfortable doing all classes and using all equipment, and you can feel the difference doing things properly actually makes! Even after a year they will still give technique pointers every class so you always feel like you're improving & pushing forward, and standards don't slip. As well as the training, the community of the place is something i've always dreamed of having in a gym; the trainers and rest of the people there, notice when someone hasn't turned up and it's great to feel like part of a team. It's a fun & welcoming environment for all levels who want to improve! And the newly done space is top notch equipment & design!

I’ve been coming to GroundWork pretty much since it opened, I guess and now it’s hard to imagine what it was like not to. It feels more like a club than a gym - a real community - and the programming and coaching are consistently fantastic - the balance of pain to fun is perfectly placed to get you stronger, fitter and more awesome, whilst making sure you love it just enough keep you coming back for more - twisted genius.

I've been training for 12 years alongside playing a high standard of rugby and I can honestly say over the past 6 months GroundWork has taken my fitness to a new level. The programming, intensity and community feel is like nothing I've experienced before. I haven't plateaued once since joining which has been my experience in previous conventional training environments - through Matt & Katherine's training they've enabled me to hit weight lifting and endurance personal bests.
